Once you’ve started a family it won’t be long before it's difficult to imagine what life was like before your little one arrived. But to manage these huge changes in your lifestyle you need to start off by considering the time you’ll be taking off work. You need to know how long you can take off and how much you’ll get paid.Looking further ahead you’ll also need to work out if, how and when you go back.
These decisions can actually be very emotional ones. In this section we’ve laid out some of the information you might need to help make sure you understand your rights. We can’t necessarily make these decisions easy but we can try to help you make the right choices for you and your new family.
