Your working checklist

There's a lot for you to arrange in what feels like a short period of time. Use our checklist to make sure you've covered everything off. Ask yourself whether you have:

  • Found out about maternity leave.
  • Found out if you qualify for Statutory Maternity Pay or Maternity Allowance.
  • Decided on a date to leave work.
  • Told your employer.
  • Taken all of your annual leave.
  • Checked your pension is OK.
  • Booked antenatal classes.
  • Thought about your return to work.
  • Looked into childcare.
  • Looked into claiming childcare vouchers.
  • Reminded your partner to book paternity leave.
